DIDO & AENEAS: The Helen Astrid Singing Academy
Featuring Emily Kirby-Ashmore Dido & Ian Helm Aeneas, a children’s chorus from Twickenham Preparatory School, an ensemble from the Royal Academy of Music and a special appearance by young dancers from a Russian ballet school in Moscow choreographed by Ekaterina Vladimirova, this sumptuous miniature masterpiece is directed by Glyndebourne’s talented Simon Iorio, conducted by Andy Langley and produced by opera singer and teacher Helen Astrid.

Opera24 present a new production of Puccini's romantic classic La Bohème, one of the most popular of all operas at Southend's Royal Pavilion and London's Grimeborn Festival. brought roaring into the 21st Century with a witty contemporary libretto by Ruth Mariner, new orchestrations for an 8-piece orchestra by acclaimed conductor/arranger John Jansson and an imaginative staging from director June Iyeda.
